Helwa Wafelbakkerij BV fully switched to using sustainable palm oil in the cream which is used as a filling for many of our wafer biscuits.
In the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) the palm oil industry, food manufacturers and social organisations worked together to make sure that the palm oil is produced with care for nature, environment and social circumstances.
Advantage for your consumers
Using palm oil in our cream has also got a healt advantage; palm oil contains less saturated fat than the previous oil Helwa used. Helwa succeeded to maintain the characteristics of the cream identical without concessions to taste. Your consumer will only enjoy the benefits.
